The entrance to the building welcomes us with the famous statue of Aram Khachatryan, the author of which is the architect Yuri Petrosyan. The interior design of the hall is illustrated with Armenian ornaments and bas-reliefs.
Architect Alexander Tamanyan designed the building back in 1936. It won the "Grand Prix" award at the World Exhibition in Paris. According to the project, it was supposed to have summer and winter halls, which can be combined to get a hall with 3000 seats.
Currently, the concert hall named after Aram Khachatryan can accommodate 1300 guests.
